Frank Ramsey was a very smart thinker. He studied math, philosophy, and economics. He was born in Cambridge in 1903. He was a top student at Trinity College. In 1923, he was the best in his class. This title was called Senior Wrangler.

Frank loved to find order. He found that even in messy systems, patterns exist. This idea is now called Ramsey theory. He also worked on a way to use math to solve logic puzzles. His work helped people understand how different types of math fit together.

Frank was a great friend. He helped a thinker named Ludwig Wittgenstein. They had long talks about hard ideas. Frank even helped translate some of Wittgenstein's books into English.

Frank also studied how people use money. He wrote three important papers on economics. These papers looked at taxes and how wealth grows. Many years later, people saw how great his ideas were.

Frank died in 1930. He was only 26 years old. He had been sick with liver problems. Even though his life was short, his ideas changed how we see the world.
