The Rhumel River flows through this canyon. Because of the deep gaps in the land, many bridges are needed. People call Constantine the "City of Bridges." There are seven bridges that cross the ravine. One is the Sidi M'Cid Bridge. It is a suspension bridge that is 168 meters long.
