Sometimes, groups of people in a society do not get along. This can happen because of money or power. This tension is called class struggle. It can also be called class conflict. It happens when social classes have different needs. These groups might fight for more rights. They might want different ways to live.

Many people have written about this topic. In 1892, Karl Kautsky wrote a long book. He called it The Class Struggle. This book was part of the Erfurt Program. Other people used writing to share their ideas. An American magazine used this name from 1917 to 1919. Later, a journal used the name from 1931 to 1937.

News can also help spread these ideas. A newspaper in Norway is called Klassekampen. In English, that name means The Class Struggle. These books and papers help us see how people work together. They show how people try to change their world. This history helps us learn about how societies work.
