The team has many rivals like the New York Knicks. They also play against the Detroit Pistons and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Winning is a big part of the Bulls' story. They are known as a great dynasty. A dynasty is a group that wins many times. The Bulls won six NBA championships between 1991 and 1998. They even had two separate three-peats. This means they won three titles in a row twice. They are the only NBA team to win many championships without ever losing a Finals series. During the 1995–96 season, they won 72 games.

This was a huge record for a long time.

Three legends led the team to its greatest success. Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and coach Phil Jackson were the leaders.

The team started a long time ago on January 16, 1966.

A man named Dick Klein founded the franchise. He was the only owner who had played professional basketball. The Bulls played their first game in the 1966–67 season. They actually won their very first game against the St. Louis Hawks. Early on, they played at the International Amphitheatre. Later, they moved to the Chicago Stadium. They even had stars like Jerry Sloan and Guy Rodgers.

After the big wins of the 1990s, the team changed. They had some hard years in the 2000s. In the early 2010s, they showed promise again.
