Carnosauria is a group of meat-eating dinosaurs.

They lived a long time ago. They lived during the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. Some carnosaurs were very big. They could grow up to 10 meters long.

These dinosaurs had special body parts. They had long and narrow skulls. Their teeth were sharp and serrated. This helped them slice meat from their prey.

They also had unique bones. Their thigh bones, called the femur, were longer than their shin bones. They had three fingers on each hand. Their tails had special bones called chevrons. These bones helped them move their tails.

Scientists study these fossils to learn more. They look at how the bones fit together. They also look at skin marks. Some fossils show small scales on the skin. Other fossils show larger scales on the tail.

Not all scientists agree on every detail. They still study how these dinosaurs are related to each other. It is a big puzzle to solve!
