Boverisuchus had teeth called ziphodont teeth. These teeth were thin and sharp. They also had serrated edges like a saw. These teeth helped it hunt land animals. Some people once thought these teeth belonged to dinosaurs. They thought some dinosaurs lived longer than they did. Boverisuchus had a round tail. It did not have the bumps seen on modern crocodiles. This tail helped it gallop. One species lived near large mammals. It may have eaten an animal called Helaletes.
