Players try to match numbers on a card. A caller picks numbers at random. The caller might use a bag of balls. They might use a machine to pick numbers. The caller says "Eyes down" to start the game.

Most tickets have 27 spaces. They are set in nine columns and three rows. Each row has five numbers and four blank spots. You can mark numbers with a pen. Some people use a tool called a "dabber."

When you win, you must shout to be heard. Many people shout "Bingo!" or "House!"

There are different ways to win. You can win by marking a single line. You can win by marking the four corners. The biggest win is a "Full House." This means you marked every number on your card.

Many people play in big bingo halls.

Some clubs now use electronic boards. These boards mark the numbers for you. This helps you play many cards at once.
