This means it is a mix of a zebra and another animal. Most zebroids are born from a zebra father and a different mother.

There are many kinds of zebroids. A zorse is a mix of a zebra and a horse.

A zonkey is a mix of a zebra and a donkey. Some zonies are small. These are crosses between a zebra and a pony.

Zebroids look like their parents. They often have stripes like a zebra. These stripes might be on their legs or neck. Sometimes they only have stripes on certain parts of their body.

Most zebroids are sterile. This means they cannot have babies of their own. This happens because of their chromosomes. Chromosomes are tiny parts inside cells that carry traits. The parents have different numbers of chromosomes. For example, a horse has 64 chromosomes. A plains zebra has 44. A hybrid will have a number halfway between them. This difference makes it hard for them to breed. Zebroids can be strong and hard to handle. This is because they can be very aggressive.
