It started in Belgium in 1881. It is the oldest group like this in the world. Today, its main office is in Lausanne, Switzerland.

This group makes the rules for many sports. They use a book called the Code of Points. This book tells judges how to score a performance. They also set rules for age. These rules help keep young gymnasts safe.
