He may have worked for many different leaders. He often wrote about being poor.

Wolfram is best known for his story, Parzival. This is a tale about the Holy Grail. In his story, the grail is a bright gemstone. He also wrote a story called Willehalm. It is about a hero and a war. Wolfram wrote many songs too. These are called Minnesang, or songs of love. Some were dawn-songs. They tell of a knight who leaves a lady at sunrise.

His work was very popular for a long time. Many people made copies of his books. Later, a man named Richard Wagner used his story. Wagner used it to write a famous opera. Wolfram's words still matter to readers today.
