Many people call him "The Wizard." He is often called the greatest sevens player ever. Sevens is a fast version of rugby.

Serevi loved rugby since he was a boy. He saw how happy a big win made his people. He worked very hard to play well. At first, some thought he was too small. But he proved them wrong by playing for many teams. He played in Japan, England, and France.

He was a star for the Fiji national team. He won the Rugby World Cup Sevens twice. He won in 1997 and 2005. In 2005, he became a player-coach. This means he played the game and led the team. He helped Fiji win a big series. This was the first time a team won it that was not from New Zealand. Serevi is now in the World Rugby Hall of Fame. This is a special place for the best players in history.
