Making music became the band's main focus. At first, they played cover versions of blues songs. Their manager, Andrew Loog Oldham, encouraged them to write their own songs. This led to many international number-one hits. Songs like "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" and "Paint It Black" became very famous. Their album Aftermath was their first to use only original songs.
