Even as a young girl, Simone showed a deep care for others. When she was only six, she refused sweets to show support for soldiers. By age ten, she was already interested in workers' rights. These early moments helped shape her strong sense of fairness and her desire to help the world.

Simone spent much of her life trying to understand how people live and work. She did not just want to read about ideas in books. To truly understand the working class, she spent one year working in car factories.

She wanted to feel the repetitive, machine-like work that many people do every day. This experience helped her form her own ideas about how power can affect people. She believed that philosophy should be based on things people actually live through. This way of thinking made her ideas very unique and powerful.

As a student, Simone was incredibly bright and learned many languages.

By the age of 12, she could already speak Ancient Greek. She even learned Sanskrit so she could read the Bhagavad Gita in its original form. She studied at the Lycée Henri IV, where her teacher was named Alain. During her school years, she was known for having very strong and radical opinions. Some people even gave her nicknames like "The Martian" because she was so different. She finished first in a major exam for philosophy and logic.

Simone was also very involved in the politics of her time. She helped workers who were striking for better pay and joined protest marches.

She even traveled to Spain to help during the Spanish Civil War. Throughout her life, she was known for her very strict personal rules. She often gave most of her money away to help people in need. She even used a masculine name, "Simon," and wore men's clothes to focus on her work. Her dedication to her beliefs was something that many people noticed.

In her later years, Simone became more interested in religion and spiritual ideas.

She died in 1943 while she was working in Britain. At the time, she was working for the Free French government. She had been eating very little food to show support for people in France during the war. Even though her life was short, her ideas stayed very important. Today, scholars all over the world still study her thoughts on science, school, and society.
