Many sandbox games use an open world. This means you can roam freely. You are not stuck on one path. Some games even let you make your own levels. Roblox lets users make games with a coding language called Luau. Minecraft is a very famous example. It has a creative mode and a survival mode.

In these games, you might find emergent gameplay. This happens when you find new ways to play. You might solve a problem in a way the makers did not plan. Some games also use AI, or artificial intelligence. This helps characters in the game act like real people. This makes the world feel alive and fun to explore.
