Pyrrho traveled with King Alexander the Great. They went on a big trip to India. Some say he learned new ideas there. He may have met wise people in India. Other thinkers disagree about this.

Pyrrho did not write any books. We know his ideas from his student, Timon. Timon wrote about what Pyrrho taught. Pyrrho wanted people to find peace. He called this peace ataraxia. This means being free from mental worry.

To find peace, he said we should not judge. We should not pick sides in a fight. He thought things are often unclear. We should not rush to say if things are true or false. This way of thinking is called Pyrrhonism. It is a way to live a calm life.
