The map shows where the city sits by the sea. It is part of the Bình Thuận province. Many people live in the city center. Others live in wards along the coast.

Long ago, the local economy relied on fishing. People also made fish sauce. Now, tourism is the main way people earn money. Many people visit the warm beaches. They stay in hotels and resorts. Some areas like Kê Gà are very quiet. Other areas near the center are more lively.

There are many neat things to see. You can visit the Po Sah Inư Cham Tower. This tower was built in the 8th century. You can also see the Fairy Stream. This is a small creek that flows through sand and limestone. There are also large sand dunes. Some dunes are orange and some are white.

The weather is often dry and warm. In the winter, people come to kite surf. In the summer, many locals visit to feel the sea breeze. The city has a long history. It was once the capital of its province. It even had a military camp long ago.
