"text": "Pasodoble is a fast-paced style of Spanish music and dance. The name literally means \"double step\" in Spanish. This name comes from its history as a military march for infantry troops. The music was so quick that it allowed soldiers to take 120 steps every minute. This was double the speed of a regular marching unit.

Because it was so energetic, it grew into a musical genre and a partner dance. Today, it is loved for its drama and strong rhythm. It is used in festivals, bullfights, and even professional dance competitions.\n\nThe music follows a specific pattern called a binary rhythm. It starts with an introduction based on a dominant chord. This is followed by a first part based on the main tone. Next comes a second part called \"the trío,\" which uses a sub-dominant note. The music often uses brief breaks before each change in the structure. The very last part of the song is usually the trío played very strongly.
