This region works like one giant, massive city. The cities are separate, but their suburbs all blend together. This happens because of the busy roads and train lines. The Northeast Corridor is the busiest passenger rail line in the country. These paths act like a spine that holds the cities together. Even though there are many cities, they are all linked. This makes it easy for people and goods to move around.
