Martha Argerich is a famous classical pianist from Argentina.

Many people call her one of the greatest living pianists. She is known for playing music by composers like Chopin and Ravel. Her playing has a special kind of naturalness. She does not just play the notes on the page. Instead, she seems to live inside the music itself. This makes her performances very exciting to watch.

Her journey with the piano began when she was only three. At age five, she studied with Vincenzo Scaramuzza. He taught her how to add feeling to her music.
