A thinker named Nāgārjuna wrote a famous book.

Nagardjuna
Nagardjuna

He lived in India a long time ago. The book is full of short poems. Students used to memorize them to learn.

He had a big idea about the world. He said things do not exist all by themselves. Instead, things happen because of other things. This is called dependent origination.

He wanted to show how things are empty. This means they do not have a fixed nature. Many people in the Buddhist faith study this. It is a very important book for them.

His ideas changed how people think. They helped many different groups of people. Even today, people still read his words. It is a very special book.
