He lived during a time of big changes. In 1955, a new group took power. This group was a dictatorship led by Pedro Aramburu. The new leaders ended the term of Juan Perón. They also banned Perón's political party. They even arrested many union leaders.

Valle left the army after the change. Many other officers were unhappy with the new leaders. Valle helped plan a rebellion in June 1956. This fight spread across the country. It did not last long. Only seven people died in the fighting. The rebellion failed because of poor planning. The government forces captured the rebels.

The government decided to punish Valle. They executed him by firing squad. This happened on June 12, 1956. Many other people were also killed. Some were killed in a massacre. These deaths changed how people saw the government. Later, a group called the Montoneros killed Aramburu. After he died, the army gave Valle a higher rank.
