Goat meat has a strong flavor. Some people call this flavor gamey. It is a red meat. It is leaner than beef or lamb. This means it has less fat. Because it is lean, it needs slow cooking. This helps keep the meat soft. In Australia, many goats are wild. These are called feral goats. They live on large pieces of land. People in Australia export much of their goat meat to other places.
