It is a deal between two sides. One side is the employer. This can be a person or a big company. The other side is the employee. The employee does specific tasks to help the employer.

There are many ways to get paid. Some people get an hourly wage. Others get a yearly salary. Some people get a bonus if they do a great job. Employers may also give benefits. These are extra things like health insurance or housing.

Benefits can help workers feel happy at their jobs.

To find work, people look at job boards online. They might also see a "Help Wanted" sign. Employers use interviews to get to know new workers. Once hired, a boss might provide training. This helps the worker learn new skills.
