Crime prevention

society Maturity 11-13 Next article →

People work to stop bad things before they happen. This is called crime prevention.

They try to make it hard to do bad things. For example, they use bright street lights. They also use cameras on the road.

Helping people can also help. Schools and jobs can keep people safe. Good teachers and parents help too.

Some people use special tools. They use locks and codes to protect things. This makes it harder to take things.

When we work together, we feel safer. It helps our towns stay calm and happy.
