Factories began to make many goods. These items were cheap to buy. People could buy many different things. This changed how people lived.

Some people use ads to sell things. Ads can show us new toys. They can show us cars too. Ads make us want to shop.

Buying too much can cause problems. It can make a lot of waste. This can hurt our planet. It can also change our air.

Some people choose to live simply. They do not buy much stuff. They want to help the earth. It is good to think about our choices.
