Aventura is a famous music group from the Bronx, New York. The group has four members. They all have roots in the Dominican Republic. They are known as the "Kings of Bachata." This is because they changed how bachata music sounds.

They were the first major bachata group from the United States. They mixed bachata with other styles like pop and hip hop. They also sang in Spanglish. This means they used both English and Spanish. They used new sounds on their guitars and bass. This new style is called Urban Bachata.

Their song "Obsesión" was a huge hit. It reached number one in seven countries. This helped people all over the world hear their music. The group has many hits, like "Un Beso" and "Dile al Amor."

One singer, Romeo Santos, chose a new name to help with his shyness. He wanted to be a romantic character on stage. Aventura has sold many albums. They have even played to full crowds at Madison Square Garden. They have won many awards for their great music.
