The art world is a huge group of people. They all work together to make, show, and sell art.

This group includes many different roles. Some people are artists who make new works. They might work alone in a studio. They might also work in a group. Some artists use a factory to make big art.

Other people help the art reach the public. Art dealers act as a bridge. They connect artists to people who want to buy art. Dealers often run art galleries. Art fairs are also very important. They are like big, temporary galleries. One famous fair is called Art Basel. It started in Switzerland. Now it is in places like Miami and Hong Kong.

Some people help us understand the art. These people are art critics. They use ideas to explain what art means. This is helpful because some art is abstract. Abstract art uses shapes and colors instead of real pictures. The art world is always changing. New ideas and new people keep it growing.
