When forests go away, animals lose their homes. This can hurt many parts of nature. It can also cause a loss of biodiversity. Biodiversity is the variety of living things on Earth. Between 2000 and 2010, big farms caused 40 percent of tropical forest loss. Local farms caused another 33 percent. We must find new, sustainable ways to farm. This helps keep our world healthy for everyone.
