Adobe Flash was a famous tool for the internet.

It helped people make many things. People used it to make animations and video games. It also helped make apps for phones and computers.

Flash used a special language called ActionScript. This language let people make things interactive. This means you could click or move things. You could use a mouse, a keyboard, or a camera.

In the early 2000s, many people had it on their computers. It was used to play videos on YouTube. Many big companies like Disney and Nike used it too.

Flash did not last forever. In 2010, Steve Jobs said Apple would not use it. He said it had security flaws. These are weak spots that can cause problems. Because of this, people started using a new way called HTML5. Flash was officially stopped for most people in 2020. Now, Adobe makes a new tool called Adobe Animate. It works with these newer web standards.
