Acteon Group

geography Maturity 11-13 Next article →

The Acteon Group is a group of small islands. They sit far out in the sea. They are part of the Tuamotu group.

These islands are atolls. This means they are made of coral. Long ago, a man saw coconut trees there.

There are four main islands. They have names like Vahanga. Most of these islands have no people.

Only one island has people living there. That place is Tenarunga. It is a very quiet spot.

Now, the islands belong to a place called Gambier. It is a lonely but pretty place.
