After World War II, leaders made new rules. A group called the Nuremberg Tribunal held trials. They said starting an aggressive war was a crime. They called these crimes "crimes against peace." Today, the United Nations helps decide if an act is aggression. The International Criminal Court also looks at these serious crimes. These rules help nations work to keep the world safe and peaceful.
