Vahakn Dadrian was a famous teacher and historian. He was born in Turkey in 1926. His family lost many members during the Armenian genocide. This was a very sad and unfair time for his people.

Dadrian studied many subjects. He studied math, philosophy, and law. He also learned many languages. He could speak English, French, German, Turkish, and Armenian. He used these languages to read old papers in many countries.

He spent his life studying the Armenian genocide. He wrote many books about this history. Some experts praised his deep research. Other experts disagreed with his ideas. Some said his work was too much like a lawyer's argument.
