This means it stays warm every month. These places have a wet season and a dry season. This climate sits between a rainforest and a savanna. A savanna is a drier place with less rain.

There are two main ways this climate works. One way has short dry times. These places get lots of rain and big storms. The other way has very long dry times. This version gets huge amounts of rain later. It can rain over 1,000 mm in one month!

Wind helps make these seasons. This is called a monsoon. A monsoon is a seasonal change in wind direction. In Asia, the wind moves from the ocean to the land in summer. This brings rain. In winter, the wind moves from the land to the ocean. This makes it dry. You can find these places in Africa and Asia. They are also in South America and Australia.
