Sperm are tiny cells that come from males. They are part of a way to make new life.

In humans, sperm carry half of the genetic code. This is the set of instructions for a living thing.

Sperm have three main parts. The head is shaped like a disc. It holds the genetic code. The head also has a small sac called an acrosome. This sac has tools to help the sperm enter an egg.
