As a teenager, he discovered a pornographic magazine, which sparked his interest in the business. In his early twenties, he moved to Paris to explore new opportunities. While attending various sex clubs, he was discovered by French actor and director Gabriel Pontello. Pontello introduced him to several producers, leading to his 1986 debut in the film *Sodopunition pour dépravées sexuelles*. Siffredi even selected a professional stage name inspired by Alain Delon's characters, Roch Siffredi and Rocco Parondi. He briefly left the industry to work as a fashion model before returning to film.

Siffredi's career is characterized by various roles and production methods. He has worked in both plot-based films and the "gonzo" style, which focuses on unscripted or raw action. He has built significant influence through collaborations with John Stagliano's Evil Angel studio. Additionally, he operates his own production company, Rocco Siffredi Produzioni, which is based in Budapest. His work has spanned a wide range of sexual performances, from ordinary scenes to more extreme content.
