This has been happening for a long time. In ancient Greece, leaders gave speeches to get support. In the Roman Empire, leaders used big shows to influence people. Later, the printing press was made. This allowed news to reach many more people. In the 1900s, leaders like Winston Churchill used the radio. They could speak to millions of people at once.

In the 1990s, a new way called "spin" became common. Spin doctors tried to make bad news look good. They used press briefings to talk to reporters. Today, we use the digital age. We use social media like X and YouTube to see news. Barack Obama used these tools to reach voters.

There are three main groups in this process. These are citizens, journalists, and politicians. They all work together or fight for control. New tools like AI are changing things too. This can lead to fake news or confusion.
