Many fans believe she is one of the greatest female wrestlers ever. She spent much of her career with a group called All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling, or AJW. Toyota was famous for her speed and her flashy moves. Her style was so impressive that people compared her to the best male wrestlers in the world. She even earned 13 matches with a perfect five-star rating from experts.

Being a wrestler requires incredible skill and stamina. Toyota used fast tags and double-team moves to win. She was known for high-energy matches that kept fans watching. One of her most famous matches was against Kyoko Inoue. This fight lasted for 60 minutes in a long draw. It featured big moves like German suplexes off the top rope. This match was so exciting it was voted Match of the Year in 1995.

Toyota's journey began when she was only 16 years old. She had her first big break in 1989 at the Yokohama Arena. That year, she teamed with Mima Shimoda as the Tokyo Sweethearts. They performed so well they nearly stole the show from the older stars. Later, she found a great partner in Toshiyo Yamada. Even though they were once rivals, they won many championships together. They even had a dramatic match where they fought over whose hair would be shaved.

Toyota won many important prizes during her long career. She was a four-time WWWA World Single Champion. She also held titles like the AJW Championship and the All Pacific Championship. In 1995, she won the AJW Grand Prix tournament to become a top contender. She even traveled to the United States to wrestle for a group called Chikara. In Baltimore and Brooklyn, she showed American fans her amazing skills. She won several matches during her time in the U.S. tournaments.

After thirty years of wrestling, Toyota finally retired in 2017. Her final event was a special thirty-anniversary show in Japan. She had many short matches that day, winning 12 of them. Her very last match was against a wrestler named Tsukasa Fujimoto. Toyota won using a move called the Japanese Ocean Queen Bee Bomb. But then they had a third match so Toyota could end her career properly. In that final bout, Fujimoto won using Toyota's own signature move.
