Other lice drink blood.

Lice lay eggs called nits. They glue these eggs to hair. The eggs hatch into small young bugs. These young bugs grow into adults in about one month.

Lice can live on humans too. We have three kinds of lice on our bodies. They can make people sick.

These bugs are found all over the world. They even live on penguins in the cold Antarctic.
