We hear how loud a sound is. It can be a soft whisper. It can be a big shout.

Our ears hear different sounds in different ways. Some sounds are easy to hear. Other sounds are hard to hear. This depends on the sound.

Some sounds are very low. Some sounds are very high. Our ears like sounds in the middle. These are the easiest to hear.

Sometimes, our ears do not work the same. A person might not hear soft sounds. But loud sounds might still sound loud to them.

TV shows use tools to help us. They make sure ads are not too loud. This helps us listen well.
