A teacher might give a talk. They might show how to do something. Students can also talk or work together. Some students work alone to read or write.

Teachers often use a lesson plan. This is a guide for the class. It lists what to teach and how much time to use. It also lists the tools needed. New teachers often write very detailed plans. This helps them stay on track.

Today, we use new tools for lessons. We can use film or podcasts. Some lessons happen online. This lets students learn from far away. This is called distance education. Learning can be fun. Sometimes people even mix learning with fun. We call this edutainment.
