It was a large predator in the water. Its body shape was like a crocodile. The name means "crocodile" in Greek. It had a wide and rounded head. Its teeth were sharp and pointed. These teeth had tiny ridges called serrations. This helped it hunt for food. It had 40 teeth on its lower jaw. This is a lot of teeth! Later, the earth became much warmer. Crocodiles moved into the area. They likely pushed Koolasuchus away. This led to its disappearance. Today, it is a fossil symbol for Victoria, Australia.
