Adetiba's work helps shape the visual culture of the African continent.

Adetiba's career followed a unique path from being a voice to being a director. She began her professional journey as a radio presenter at Rhythm 93.7 FM. There, she hosted two syndicated shows titled Soul'd Out and Sunday at the Seaside. She also experimented with music by posting personal remixes online. She used the username "hule" on applications like Spotify and SoundCloud. This early work allowed her to explore sound and rhythm before moving to visual media.

She eventually transitioned from radio to television by appearing in front of the camera. Adetiba produced and presented several shows on the Mnet network. These included the programs Studio 53 and Temptation Nigeria. She worked alongside Ikponmwosa Osakioduwa on the latter program. Later, she served as a presenter on Soundcity TV. She also hosted the competition Maltina Dance All for three consecutive seasons.

To master the technical side of filmmaking, Adetiba moved behind the camera. She enrolled at the New York Film Academy to learn professional directing skills. Her first major step into film was the short film Across a Bloodied Ocean. This project was released in 2008. It gained international attention by screening at the 2009 Pan African Film Festival. It was also shown at the National Black Arts Festival.

Adetiba has directed several significant feature films and series. Her first feature film was a romantic comedy titled The Wedding Party. It premiered on September 8, 2016, at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). This event was part of the City-to-City Spotlight opening night. She also directed the film King of Boys in 2018. This was followed by a sequel in 2021 called King of Boys: The Return of the King. Her upcoming film project is titled To Kill a Monkey, set for 2025.

Music video direction is another major part of her professional portfolio. She has directed many videos for famous artists. These include "Ekundayo" by TY Bello and "Today na Today" by Omawumi. She also directed "Anifowose" and "Sitting on the Throne" for the artist Olamide. Other notable videos include "Onye" by Waje and "Say" by Bez. In 2015, she won the City People Entertainment Award for the same category. Finally, she received a HNWOTY Award for Woman of the Year in Film and Television in 2017.

Adetiba's career connects many different areas of the media industry. She bridges the gap between radio broadcasting, television hosting, and cinematic directing. Her ability to work in both music and film shows her versatility. She has interviewed many notable figures, such as her mother, Mayen Adetiba, on the show King Women.
