Wayne Lim Junjie, known professionally as JJ Lin, is a prominent Singaporean singer, songwriter, record producer, and businessman. He is widely recognized throughout the Chinese-speaking world for his emotional vocal delivery and pop ballads. Lin's career is defined by both his musical talent and his diverse business interests. He has achieved massive commercial success across Asia through his studio albums and world tours. Beyond music, he has expanded into the worlds of esports, coffee, and digital communities. His influence spans multiple industries and continues to grow through new creative projects.

Lin's musical process involves complex songwriting and production skills. Before becoming a solo star, he worked as a trainee under mentors Billy Koh and Sunkist Ng. During this time, he wrote more than one hundred songs for other musical artists. His compositions include hits like "Remember" for A-Mei and "Let Go" for A-Do. He also produces his own work, such as the 96-minute music documentary titled "If Miracles had a Sound." This documentary took 455 days to film across several countries, including the U.S., Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. This process shows the deep level of planning required for his large-scale musical projects.

Lin's discography includes many distinct types of releases and successful albums. His debut album, "Music Voyager," was released in 2003 through Ocean Butterflies International. This was followed by "Haven" in 2004 and "Cao Cao" in 2006. Each of these albums helped establish his presence in the music industry. He has released various other works, such as the experimental album "From M.E. to Myself" in 2015. He also released "Like You Do" in 2021, which was his first album featuring songs in English. His fifteenth studio album, "Happily, Painfully After," was released in April 2023.
