Clark was a very fast and skilled driver. He won two Formula One World Championship titles. He won his first title in 1963. He won his second title in 1965. In that same year, he won the Indy 500. This was a huge feat. He was the only driver to win both in one year.

Clark also won many races in the Tasman Series. This was a group of races in Australasia. He won three titles in that series. He held many records for his wins and fast laps. Sadly, Clark died during a race in 1968. He was leading a championship when he had an accident. He is now in the International Motorsports Hall of Fame. His life showed how much one person can do in racing.
