Jessica Phyllis Lange is a famous American actress and photographer.

She has spent over fifty years performing on stage and in movies. Her talent has earned her many of the highest honors in acting. She has won two Academy Awards for her film work. She also holds five Golden Globe Awards and three Primetime Emmy Awards. On the stage, she won a Tony Award for her skill. She is one of only a few performers to reach the Triple Crown of Acting status. This means she has won top awards in film, television, and theater.

Lange's journey into acting involved many different steps. She first studied art and photography at the University of Minnesota. Later, she moved to Paris to study mime theater.
