Interpersonal relationship

society Maturity 11-13 Next article →

People connect in many ways. These connections are called interpersonal relationships. They can be with family, friends, or coworkers. Some bonds are very close. These are called intimate relationships. They involve strong feelings like love.

Relationships can change as we grow. Young people often have many friends. As people get older, they may focus more on one partner. Some experts say these bonds become more about care and support.

Family bonds are very important too. A child's bond with a parent can shape their life. Some babies feel very safe with a caregiver. This is called a secure attachment. It helps them learn to trust others.

Not all bonds are for fun or love. We also have business relationships. These happen at work. You might have a boss or a coworker. These connections are based on tasks rather than feelings.

Relationships are always moving. They can grow stronger as people talk more. They can also fade if people drift apart. All these links help us live in a big society.
