Han Sorya was a very famous writer in North Korea.

He was also a leader for many people who wrote stories. He held big jobs in the government and the schools.

Han helped shape how stories were told in his country. He was a great admirer of the leader Kim Il Sung. Han used special names for him. He called the leader "our Sun" and the "Sun of the Nation." These names helped make the leader very popular. One of his famous books was a story called *Jackals*. It was a story that spoke against America.

Life in politics can be hard and change quickly. Han faced many struggles with other leaders. In 1962, he lost his important jobs. He was even sent away to live in a small village. Because of this, his name was often left out of history books. Even though his name was hidden, his way of writing stayed important. Many people still study his work today to learn about the past.
