A famous researcher named Irene Pepperberg studied a parrot named Alex. Alex could learn over 100 words and differentiate between colors, shapes, and materials. He even showed a concept of zero and could perform basic addition.
Beyond speech, these birds have complex social and biological needs. They rely on a flock-type structure to communicate through contact calls.
