Genevieve Nnaji

Genevieve Nnaji is a famous star from Nigeria.

She is an actress, a producer, and a director. She started acting when she was only eight years old. Since then, she has been in over 200 movies. Many of these films are part of Nollywood. Nollywood is the name for the Nigerian film industry. She has won many big prizes for her talent. In 2005, she won a top acting award. She was the very first person to win it.

Genevieve grew up in a middle-class family. Her father worked as an engineer. Her mother was a nursery school teacher.
