People often call these fun centers. Some people call them indoor amusement parks. They are usually smaller than big theme parks. These centers are often inside buildings. They are made for families with kids.

Most centers have many things to do. You might play arcade games or go bowling. Some places have mini golf or kart racing.

You can also play in a ball pit. Some centers have climbing structures. Many centers serve food like pizza or snacks.

These places are good for local people. They are not always big tourist spots. Many are owned by local people. Some are part of large chains. A famous example is Chuck E. Cheese. It opened in 1977 in California. Some centers are for learning, too. These are often called science museums. They use play to teach new things. Parents like these places because they feel safe. They also like having good food there. This makes it easy for the whole family to enjoy a trip together.
